Refund Policy

1. Overview

Bookmarker is a one-time purchase for the Mac app. This Refund Policy explains how refunds are handled.

Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our reseller and Merchant of Record. When you buy a license, you are entering into a transaction handled by Lemon Squeezy on our behalf.

2. Try before you buy

Bookmarker offers a free trial so you can test it on your own Mac before purchasing. We encourage you to use the trial to make sure the app works for you and runs on your hardware before buying a license.

3. Refund window

We offer refunds within 14 days of the original purchase date. Requests made after this period may not be eligible unless required by law or granted at our discretion.

4. How to request a refund

If you would like a refund (for example, due to an accidental purchase, a duplicate charge, or a technical issue preventing you from using the app), you can:

1. Contact us at hello@bookmarker.cc with the email address used at purchase and your order or receipt details.
2. We will review your request and, if approved, process the refund through Lemon Squeezy.

Refunds are issued to your original payment method. Processing times depend on Lemon Squeezy and your bank or card issuer.

5. After a refund

Once a refund is issued, your license to use the app ends. Because your library is stored locally on your own Mac, a refund does not delete your data — you remain in control of it on your device.

6. Billing issues and disputes

If you experience a billing issue — such as a duplicate charge or an incorrect amount — please contact us at hello@bookmarker.cc as soon as possible. We will investigate and, where appropriate, correct the issue or facilitate a refund through Lemon Squeezy.

7. Changes to this Refund Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time.

When we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. If the changes are significant, we will take reasonable steps to notify you.
